Before the fast-moving clipper system tapers down, you may see anywhere from one to four inches of snow on the ground, depending on where you live.

AccuWeather analysts expect a broad area of 3 to 6 inches of snow in the southern half of the Garden State, while National Weather Service forecasters believe there may be some isolated areas of 4½ to possibly 5 inches.
16 of the 21 counties in the state have received winter weather advisories, which will be in place from Saturday night until Sunday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, "roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will certainly become slick and hazardous."

As of late Friday, Bergen, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, and Warren counties are the only ones not under a formal winter weather advisory. Strangely, those are the parts of the state that usually receive the greatest snowfall.
