Customers at Marshalls in Brick Township were taken aback when a white-tailed deer entered the store and needed assistance getting out.

In a video of the incident that was uploaded to TikTok, a woman who looks to be a customer leads the deer to the doors and out of the Brick Commons retail mall, which is located at the intersection of Route 70 and Chambers Bridge Road. The clip, posted to TikTok by user @latinowithabuzzcut, racked up millions of views within days.

After leaving the business, which backs up to a small wooded area, it's unclear what happened to the deer.

How long the deer had been inside the store before the woman stepped in to lead it outdoors is also unknown. Commenters pointed out that the store's doors contain motion sensors, which is probably how it entered in the first place.

"We can confirm that a deer entered and safely exited our Brick Township Marshalls store on Friday, December 5," a representative for Marshalls' parent company, TJX, wrote in an email on Tuesday afternoon.
