Tragic Discovery: Body of Missing Autistic Teen Discovered in NJ

According to Plainfield Police Department, nearly a month after going missing, a 19-year-old man with autism was discovered deceased.

Connor Oldfield's body was discovered in Green Brook, close to the Roosevelt Avenue Bridge, on February 19th.

A neighboring Ring doorbell camera captured Oldfield going along the river before he fell in and emerged, according to Christina Castellanos, who was assisting the family with the search.

On Thursday, authorities discovered Oldfield's body after searching beneath the ice, according to Castellanos.

His cause of death has not yet been released.
