Extended Power Outages Expected for Many in New Jersey Following Blizzard

Following Monday's snowstorm in New Jersey and most of the northeast, nearly 36,000 customers are without power, and some may not get it back until Saturday.

14,622 outages were reported by JCP&L at 10 a.m., primarily in the shore regions. On Wednesday, some restorations might not be finished until 11:30 p.m.

20,913 consumers, or 4% of all customers served, were affected by the hurricane, according to Atlantic City Electric. Some outages are estimated to extend until Saturday at 11:59 p.m.
Ninety customers were affected, according to PSE&G. In certain regions, power is expected to be restored on Wednesday between 3 and 4:30 a.m.
