Man Arrested After Shattering Windows at Borough Hall in New Jersey

According to an online statement from Red Bank Borough Manager James Gant, a guy who had broken many windows at Borough Hall on Friday night was tasered.

At 9:11 p.m. According to Gant, on Friday, a man with a five-foot-long metal pipe inflicted "severe damage" to four of Borough Hall's front windows, affecting the Finance Office area.

Gant claimed that the individual disregarded the orders given to him by the responding cops after the incident.
After using a taser to control him, the man was arrested.

According to Gant, he was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, criminal mischief, possession of a firearm for an illegal purpose, resisting arrest, and attempted escape from custody.
The identify of the accused man has not been made public by the authorities.

After this occurrence, borough workers arrived right away to secure the structure, and repairs have now started.

According to authorities, Borough Hall functions would continue "as normally as feasible" while construction is underway.
