Jersey Shore Stabbing Incident Leads to Attempted Murder Charges

According to Middle Township Police, a Jersey Shore man was charged with attempted murder after stabbing another man he was arguing with with a knife.

Police were called to a residence on Reeves Street in the town's Whitesboro neighborhood shortly before midnight on Tuesday due to a reported stabbing.

According to authorities, the stabbing injured a 43-year-old Whitesboro man's neck and shoulder. For additional care, he was brought to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division.
According to police, he and the suspect, Andrew Enman, a 38-year-old resident of Egg Harbor Township, got into a verbal altercation before Enman grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim.

Enman fled the scene prior to the arrival of the police, but he was apprehended after being discovered during the investigation.

According to authorities, the stabbing was not random and the two males were acquainted. The public were not in any risk.
Enman was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal attempt (murder), one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of third-degree aggravated assault, and certain persons not to possess a weapon.

He was brought to the Cape May County Correctional Facility, where he is being held while legal proceedings take place.
