

New Jersey State Police Searching for Missing, Endangered Pittsgrove Man Last Seen in Bass River State Forest
BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — The New Jersey State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 50‑year‑old Richard Beckett, an endangered missing man from Pittsgrove, New Jersey, who disappeared Saturday afternoon.
According to NJSP Troop “A” Bridgeton Station, Richard was last seen on March 29 at approximately 12:30 p.m. in Bass River State Forest, near Lake Absegami in Burlington County.
Beckett is described as a white male, standing 5’11”, weighing approximately 280 pounds, with a gray beard. Authorities have not released details regarding his direction of travel or possible destination.
