A automobile and a U.S. Postal Service tractor-trailer collided in Hamilton early on Sunday, killing a teenager and injuring two others, according to authorities on Monday.

The collision on Route 130, which was reported at around 4 a.m. on Sunday, claimed the life of Eliyahu Schepansky, 18, of Lakewood, according to Hamilton police.

According to authorities, the collision injured Beatriz Reyes, 43, of the Bronx, and Mordechai Sokol, 19, of Lakewood.
Sokol was sent to Hamilton's Capital Health Regional Hospital with critical injuries, according to the police.

According to the authorities, Reyes was brought to Hamilton's Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for treatment.
According to the police, Sokol stopped at the intersection of First Responders Way while traveling south in the right lane of Route 130 in a Mazda CX3.

When Sokol attempted to turn left onto First Responders Way from the right lane while Reyes was driving the tractor-trailer south on Route 130 in the middle lane, he crossed into the tractor-trailer's path, according to the police.
