Prepare for Stormy Weather: NJ Faces Heavy Rain and Gusty Winds

New Jersey Braces for Storms and Significant Weather Changes Ahead

According to the most recent prediction, New Jersey will see rainy conditions this week, including thunderstorms, before a significant warmup.

According to AccuWeather, a late spring, clipperlike system diving south out of central Canada into the Great Lakes and East could generate some gusty thunderstorms throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic from mid-to late week.

Temperatures will start to rise once the storm passes. Forecasters predict that this weekend's temperatures will be hot.

The National Weather Service predicts highs in the 70s to mid 80s on Saturday and widespread 80s on Sunday. By the coast, the temperature will be lower.

"It appears that the heat will intensify into early next week, with potentially extremely hot conditions." According to the National Weather Service, Monday's highs are expected to be in the 80s, with some places perhaps reaching 90 degrees (again, cooler by the coast).

On Tuesday, it might also reach the low 90s.

From this weekend through the beginning of next week, dry conditions are also anticipated. Check the upcoming forecast.
