Stormy Weather This Weekend Will Lead to a Scorching Heat Wave in NJ: Here is What to Expect.

As a weak cold front passes through the area, New Jersey will continue to see sporadic showers and a few thunderstorms tonight and throughout the day on Saturday.

Through Saturday, light rain and sporadic thunderstorms are predicted due to the unpredictable weather, with the strongest activity concentrated across southern New Jersey.

According to the National Weather Service, a few thunderstorms could result in gusty gusts on Saturday, but severe storms are not anticipated.

On Friday night, temperatures in northern and western New Jersey will dip to the low to mid-60s, while readings in southern regions will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
The highs on Saturday will typically be in the 70s, however southern New Jersey may get some low 80s.

Before the region starts to dry out, showers and sporadic thunderstorms could continue throughout Saturday night, especially in extreme southern New Jersey.
