
The Bergenfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Edgar Munoz, an 80-year-old endangered missing man who has not been seen since late Wednesday morning.
According to police, Mr. Munoz left his Bergenfield residence on foot on July 6, 2026, at approximately 11:50 a.m. and has not returned home. Family members and investigators are deeply concerned for his safety.

Mr. Munoz is described as:
He was last seen wearing a navy-blue polo shirt with white trim on the sleeves and collar. Police have shared a photo of Mr. Munoz wearing the shirt in the department’s public alert.
Authorities note that Mr. Munoz does not have a phone and frequently travels using public transit buses. In past incidents, he has been located in New York City and Atlantic County, raising concern that he may have traveled outside the immediate Bergenfield area.
