Shirley J. Amico, 71, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026. Shirley was born on December 19, 1954, in Elizabeth, NJ to her parents Peter and Dorothy

(nee: Lowe) Stankowsky.

Shirley was a lifelong resident of Toms River. She enjoyed going to the beach, sunbathing and dancing. Above all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Michael Amico, and her niece, Nadine Amico. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her sisters,

Patricia and Frances.

Surviving Shirley are her children; Edward Soto and his wife Kimberly, Nicole Minnella and her husband Michael, Michael Amico, daughter in law Donnelly Amico, Melissa

Gaffney, Leslie Amico and her wife Tracy, Dayna Tully and her husband Scott, and Brian Christy, her beloved 17 grandchildren and cherished 14 great grandchildren. She

is also survived by her devoted sister, Rose Masi, who provided her with endless love

and compassionate care.

Family and friends were invited to gather on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ

08753. A funeral service will take place at 1:30pm.
