Ocean County is gearing up for a historic season as communities across the region commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. From theatrical performances and art exhibits to reenactments and musical tributes, residents and visitors will have countless opportunities to honor America’s founding story.

Ocean County Communities Unite to Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary

Ocean County is gearing up for a historic season as communities across the region commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. From theatrical performances and art exhibits to reenactments and musical tributes, residents and visitors will have countless opportunities to honor America’s founding story.

The celebration spans August through December, offering a rich lineup of cultural, educational, and immersive experiences hosted by local theaters, libraries, historical societies, and parks.

🎭 August 18–30: “1776: The Musical” at Surflight Theatre

📍 201 Engleside Ave, Beach Haven 🕛 2pm or 8pm showings The beloved Broadway classic 1776 arrives at Surflight Theatre, bringing the drama and passion of America’s founding fathers to the Jersey Shore stage. 🎨 September 16: Along the Jersey Shore Art Exhibit – Celebrating America’s 250th
