Six-Year-Old Killed in South Jersey Highway Crash
A 6-year-old boy was killed after being struck by a vehicle on an Atlantic County roadway Sunday night, according to authorities.
Pleasantville Police Department were called to the intersection of Black Horse Pike and Noahs Road in Pleasantville at approximately 9:30 p.m.
According to the report, the child entered the roadway and was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound on Black Horse Pike. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 31-year-old Pleasantville resident, stayed at the scene following the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional details have been released.
