Popcorn Park Launches Its First Halloween Celebration

LACEY, NJ — Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River is getting into the Halloween spirit with its first-ever Halloween celebration, offering families a weekend filled with seasonal activities, animal encounters and treats.

The event, Boo at the Refuge, will take place Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, from noon to 4 p.m., according to the refuge. VIP ticket holders can get an early start with admission beginning at 11 a.m.

The Halloween weekend will feature trick-or-treating, crafts, games, costumes and opportunities to meet some of the refuge’s animal ambassadors. Visitors can also participate in a costume parade and contest while enjoying Halloween-themed decorations and activities throughout the property.
