A 1.7-acre site at 1882 Hooper Ave. in the township's Silverton district has already been cleared to make room for a 12,600-square-foot retail center.
According to Mario Brunelli, vice president of investment sales and site acquisitions for R.J. Brunelli & Co., an Old Bridge commercial real estate business, Pizza Hut has signed a lease for 1,800 square feet at the center's southern end. He noted that the new facility, which is moving from Brick, will focus on pick-up and delivery.
According to Danielle Brunelli, the firm's president, a cellphone store operator and an Italian specialty store are also interested in the center.
The firm's president, Lou March Jr., said in a statement that the building will be handed over to tenants in March 2022, with a grand opening planned for next summer. According to Daneille Brunelli, the structure will have an affluent appearance. "It'll be a lovely new building for the retail area in Toms River," he said. "It's a strip mall with a lot of foot traffic." Restaurants, bakeries, bagel shops, barber shops and salons, eye wear stores, fitness facilities, pet care, and urgent care, according to Mario Brunelli, are among the tenants they are looking for.
