Frazier, a 35-year-old Little League World Series hero from Toms River, New Jersey, who went on to play at Rutgers, is unquestionably nearing the end of his career. Frazier was one of baseball's most feared sluggers when he was at his best.
With the
Cincinnati Reds in 2015, he hit 35 home runs and won the Home Run Derby at Great American Ballpark. With the
Chicago White Sox in 2016, Frazier set a new career high with 40 home runs.
In 2017, Frazier was a member of the
New York Yankees, and from 2018 through 2020, he was a member of the
New York Mets.
After the 2019 season, Frazier signed as a free agent with the
Texas Rangers, who later traded him back to the Mets in August of last year. In 45 games in 2020, he had a.236 batting average and four home homers.
