Maria’s Milltown
There could only be one in the end.
There are over 2,200 pizza restaurants in New Jersey, and one has emerged as the Jersey Pizza Joints' pizza king for 2022 after three months of competition.
Maruca's of Seaside Heights was chosen by the judges at Redd's Biergarten in Carlstadt on Saturday.
Domenic A. Maruca has been baking pizza for 50 years, and his family has been in the pizza business since 1950. This will assist us in growing our business, and we intend to contribute back to the community, says Domenic.
Alex Corrado, Federico Castelluccio, and Joe D'Onofrio, celebrity judges, hard-core pizza guys, and a mix of local character actors, chose their favorite pies.
Unlike the first year's contest, which was hosted at Redd's Biergarten in New Brunswick, this year's event was much more organized and offered a lot more.
