A Major Change in Weather Patterns Approaching NJ: Here is What to Expect
Forecasters predict that the New Jersey region will see a significant change in the weather.
Forecasters predicted that a notable warming trend in New Jersey will keep temperatures 5 to 10 degrees above average over the next few days and might cause high temperatures to soar near 90 degrees by next week.
The majority of the New Jersey region will see highs between 65 and 70 degrees during the course of the weekend.
However, highs are expected to reach 77 on Monday and 83 on Tuesday before approaching 90 degrees on Wednesday. According to National Weather Service statistics, it might surpass the 1941 record high of 88 degrees for April 15.
Since the middle of last summer, the majority of the area has not experienced a day with temperatures above 90 degrees.
"With temperatures rising, parents are strongly cautioned never to leave youngsters unattended in automobiles, where conditions can turn life-threatening within minutes," according to
Accuweather. "Even when not transporting children, always check the back seat before exiting a vehicle, as kids may have climbed inside the car unnoticed."
Residents are also advised to take full advantage of the warm days, whether it's outdoor activities, gardening, or simply enjoying the sunshine. Local parks and beaches, including those in Ocean County, are expected to see increased visitors as people look to soak up the sun. Check the local
forecast.
