According to New Jersey State Police, a 53-year-old Seaside Park woman was killed early Saturday when her car crashed along the Garden State Parkway near milepost 45.8 in Port Republic.

State Trooper Charles Marchan stated in an email that Carrieann Orlando, 53, was ejected from the car approximately 12:38 a.m. after the northbound vehicle drove off the road and collided with a metal guardrail.

He claimed she died as a result of her injuries.
