In the event that you would like to adopt an animal, kindly get in contact with the Toms River Animal Shelter . Adopting a pet requires submitting an application. Every week, applications are reviewed.
Adoption fees are payable in cash or checks if approved. The spaying or neutering of the dog or cat, rabies and distemper shots, and a microchip are all included in this cost.A dog heartworm test is also included. If a resident application is accepted, a representative will get in touch with the applicant and arrange for the adoption to be completed. Any applications via Petfinder may be rejected for any reason at their discretion.

I am the biggest princess here at the shelter. I love to be taken care of. I love warm and soft cozy beds. Chairs, tables, desks, clipboards, shoulders, etc are all close seconds. I like to be involved. I am very vocal cat who likes to boss people around. Most would call me a micromanager. But if everyone just did what they needed to, I wouldn't have to be so bossy... Makes sense, right?
I love to be pet, but when I am done being pet, I will let you know. I am a very funny with a "cattitude".

My name is Cisco :) I can be a little bit skittish at first.. but I let my silly, playful self take over when I become comfortable and feel safe.
I came to the shelter as a stray with another kitten, we didn't have it easy before arriving here. So please don't hold it against me if I am shy and nervous.
I wouldn't mind a fur-ever home with another kitten or cat to be friends with! But it's totally not necessary, I'm a super cool little dude on my own too!
