NBC News: After 2 Years, Massive Halloween Parade Will Return to Toms River
There is a ton of anticipation for the second largest Halloween parade in the world. After being canceled in 2020, Toms River Township’s Halloween parade is set to return on October 30.
The Toms River Halloween Parade, which began in 1937 as a modest municipal Halloween event, is now the world's second biggest, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
More than 100,000 people line the parade route to witness the floats, marching bands, groups, families, and children dressed up in their costumes.
