The Toms River Fire Company No.1 are happy to announce that the Toms River Halloween Parade is a go for 2021 and is schedule for Saturday, October 30th at 7 pm.

The parade route begins at the Toms River Shopping Centre on the corner of Highland Parkway and Rt. 166 (Main St.) The parade will travel down Main Street turning left onto Washington Street ending at the corner of Washington Street and Hooper Ave. All Spectators need to be south of Highland parkway. The parade will be broadcasted live on Toms River Fire Co.#1 Facebook.

ALL Registration is done the day of the parade ONLY at the Henry Runco Firehouse on Robbins Street between Washington Street & Water Street.

CDC guidelines will be enforced.

Again, the parade will be held on Saturday, October 30. The schedule follows the tradition that if Halloween falls on a Sunday, like it does this year, the parade will be on Saturday, with a rain date on Monday.

The Toms River Halloween Parade, which began in 1937 as a local municipal Halloween event, is now the world's second largest, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

People from all over Ocean County come to the parade route to watch the floats, marching bands, organizations, families and kids dressed up in their costumes.

All are excited of the return of the Halloween Parade in Toms River. There have only been three times in the background of the fire department that the parade had been terminated. The very first time remained in the 1920s during the Great Clinical depression. The second time resulted from Superstorm Sandy. The 3rd was for the coronavirus.

If the parade has to be postponed due to weather conditions TRFC1 will make that decision Saturday afternoon and get it out on all of their social media outlets ...... VISIT HERE

Rain date for the parade if rescheduled is Monday, November 1st.
