According to Ocearch, researchers claim that they have once again tracked a great white shark off the Jersey Shore in Sea Isle City.

This 8-foot shark, named "Jekyll" by shark tracking organization OCEARCH, was pinged several times off the coast on Monday night.

And according to OCEARCH information, Jekyll was further north by Atlantic City at a little after midnight on May 9. Find out where he is right now here.

According to OCEARCH, Jekyll is a young white shark that is 8 feet, 8 inches long and weighs 395 pounds. He was called after Jekyll Island in Georgia, not after a famous author. This past December, the group tagged him for the first time.

He pursues Simon and Hali, two other white sharks who have recently also been seen off the Jersey Shore. Simon was pinged multiple times on April 30 off the coast near Island Beach State Park.

A huge number of great white sharks are lurking off the coasts of New York, New Jersey, and Cape Cod, trackers of the creatures have said. A map on Ocearch's website allows members of the public to track the sharks for themselves, with each fish having its own name and fact file.
