El Toro Rollercoaster at Six Flags Causing Multiple Injuries

El Toro

According to Police, several persons were injured on the El Toro ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson on Thursday night.

El Toro, which translates as "the bull," is one of the world's fastest and highest wooden runs. It has the appearance of a traditional wooden coaster, but it is built using cutting-edge engineering techniques to provide a smoother, faster, and more thrilling ride than traditional wooden coasters.

Initial reports stated that the El Toro Rollercoaster jolted forward while discharging riders, however all injuries were mild. At the Jackson park, the collision happened around 7 o'clock. There is no other information at this time.

El Toro was shut down by the state last June following a partial derailment. It was reopened this spring.
