Firefighters Successfully Contain Early-Morning Boat Fire in Brick Township
According to Pioneer Hose Co #1, first responders reported that early on Thursday morning, fire fighters extinguished a fire that had started on a boat docked in the water at Baywood Marina.
There were no injuries and the firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the the dock.
Around 4:46 a.m. on Thursday, emergency personnel from Brick's District 1 and District 2 responded to a call regarding a boat fire.

Jersey Shore Fire Response shared shows smoke rising and flames spreading from the 30-foot yacht.
In order to prevent the fire from spreading to the pier, crews acted swiftly to contain it. After dispatching a fire boat, the
East Dover Fire Company remained on the scene for approximately sixty minutes in order to assist Brick firemen in extinguishing fires in the vessel's bow.
According to Pioneer Hose Company #1's report, Breton Woods Fire Company #1, Laurelton Fire Company #1, and the Brick Township Fire Department also responded.
How the fire originated has not yet been disclosed by officials.
Officials stated that the fire will be investigated by the New Jersey State Police Marine Unit and the Brick Township Fire Bureau.
