According to News12NJ, on Friday, a black bear was seen strolling along the Jersey Shore.
The bear, perhaps taking a final walk before hibernation season, was spotted wandering along Sandy Hook's bayside. Although it may not be a common sight, bear sightings have been reported in the spring of 2022 in the Atlantic Highlands.
