Put this on your calendars: Brick's SummerFest Concert Series is returning for another year.
As part of the town's America's 250th Birthday celebration weekend, the well-liked series, sponsored by Pine Belt Cars, begins on July 2 at Windward Beach Park with a performance by Super Trans Am. Some of the best arena rock hits ever are performed by Super Trans Am.
Hackensack Meridian Health's Ocean University Medical Center is presenting the special opening night performance on July 2, which will conclude with a patriotic fireworks show.

When the weather permits, SummerFest evenings feature food vendors, a wine and beer garden for those over 21, and fireworks at the conclusion of each performance.

In addition to coolers and chairs on the shuttles, people are invited to bring blankets or chairs to the series. All coolers and bags are subject to search; alcohol is not allowed in either.
The Brick Township Police Department will vigorously enforce the requirement that children under the age of 17 travel on shuttle buses with an adult.
