OHI Partners With Congressman Kim For COVID-19 Vaccine Event
Ocean Health Initiatives (OHI), a federally qualified health center with 7 locations throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, recently partnered with 3rd District Congressman Andy Kim, to host a mass Vaccination Event at Holiday City West in Berkeley Township.
This event is scheduled for Sunday, April 11 at the clubhouse located in Holiday City West 45 Cabrillo Boulevard. The event is for eligible seniors in Ocean County. Preregistration is required. No walk ins will be accepted. Congressman Kim will be in attendance as well as the Berkeley Mayor Carmen Amato.
According to Ocean Health Initiatives, they will be administering 1,000 J&J COVID19 vaccinations during this event.
OHI services residents in Monmouth and Ocean County regardless of income to provide basic and preventive care for all individuals and families in our area. Once you are registered, a representative from Ocean Health Initiatives will call you with an appointment time. The vaccinations will be administered at 45 Cabrillo Blvd., Toms River, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is a single-shot inoculation.
