A frightening road rage confrontation in Atlantic City — caught entirely on dashcam — has led to a Toms River man facing a recommended three-year prison sentence. According to prosecutors, 28-year-old Frank Marin pleaded guilty to third-degree terroristic threats, admitting he threatened to kill another driver and the driver’s dog during the incident.

🚨 The Confrontation Caught on Dashcam

The encounter unfolded on Sept. 12, 2025, when the victim stopped for an ambulance crossing an intersection on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Prosecutors say Marin sped through a red light in his white Nissan Altima, nearly crashing into the victim’s vehicle.

After a brief exchange, the victim attempted to drive away — but Marin cut him off, threatened to kill him, and retrieved an orange stun gun from his car. The victim, who recorded the entire incident on his dashboard camera, moved his vehicle forward while calling police, prompting Marin to flee.

Authorities say the dashcam footage was crucial in documenting the threats and supporting the charges.

⚖️ Guilty Plea & Upcoming Sentencing

Marin appeared before Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Christine Smith, where he pleaded guilty to terroristic threats. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 18, with prosecutors recommending a three-year state prison term.

His criminal history includes prior arrests in Monmouth and Burlington counties for drug possession, burglary, fencing, weapons possession, and violating a domestic violence restraining order.
