Dead Whale Found Washed Ashore In Barnegat Light

Dead Whale Washes Up on The Beach in Barnegat Light, NJ

A dead whale has washed ashore in Barnegat Light on 18th Street.

The cause of death is unknown, but according to news sources they believes the whale could of been injured by a ship before washing up in Ocean County. There was a huge gash on the side of the mammal which was pouring blood.

Visitors to Barnegat Light have been cautioned to stay away from the whale carcass due to the possibility of infections spreading from it. However, this did not deter onlookers from photographing and filming the whale.
