According to the Toms River Police Department Facebook Post, unused, expired, and unwanted medications not properly discarded are at risk for abuse, misuse, and theft.
Toms River Police has set up a collection site. This is a great opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinets. Safely dispose of your unused or expired prescription drugs, Saturday October 29th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Toms River Senior Center on Garfield Avenue, as part of the DEA National Rx Take Back Initiative.
