There’s something truly special about visiting the Jersey Shore after sunset. The beach becomes peaceful, the waves gently roll toward shore, and above you, the night sky opens up to reveal countless stars across the universe.

A Night Under The Jersey Shore Stars

On Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, the South Seaside Park Annex is hosting a special night of stargazing at Island Beach State Park Parking Lot #2.

The event will take place from 8 to 10 p.m., giving visitors plenty of time to get comfortable, gaze toward the sky and see how many stars and celestial sights they can find.

And really, what could be better than taking in the night sky while surrounded by the natural beauty of the Jersey Shore?

There’s even more reason to add this event to your calendar — admission is completely free, thanks to the Seaside Park Environmental Committee.

Keep in mind that space is limited, so you’ll need to have a ticket to attend.
