Families & Friends Mourn Two Teens Killed in New Jersey Turnpike Crash

Family and friends have identified the victims of Sunday’s crash on the New Jersey Turnpike. Fundraising pages have been created on GoFundMe for both victims, who were teenagers from Pennsylvania.

The vehicle overturned near Cranbury on the New Jersey Turnpike at approximately 5:06 a.m. Sunday.

Josh Ritsky, 19, of Warminster, and Dominic Fenton, 16, of Hatboro, were thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Four additional passengers sustained injuries and received medical treatment.

Fenton’s GoFundMe page described Dominic as deeply devoted to his friends, sharp-witted, and someone who could always make others smile with a joke or clever remark.

Ritsky’s GoFundMe page remembered Josh as an exceptional young man with a unique outlook and big ambitions, noting that despite being just 19, he was among the hardest-working people one could meet.

The mother of one of the passengers who survived the crash also shared a heartfelt tribute to the victims on Facebook, expressing her sorrow for the families who lost their sons and acknowledging the unimaginable pain they must be experiencing.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police are investigating the accident.
