A Wedding to Remember

According to Barnegat Light Volunteer Fire Company #1, on September 17, a wedding event was taking place at the restaurant on Long Beach Island when emergency personnel got reports that the second story had collapsed.

"The floor did not collapse, but caved in resulting in the structure being unsafe for the meantime," fire officials said.

There were no injuries, according to the authorities. The Barnegat Light First Aid Squad, Squads 49, 14, 38, the medics from 1303 and the EMS coordinator, as well as the Long Beach Township police, were all thanked by the authorities.

First aid personnel at Barnegat Light stated that on Saturday they were securing the building's structure.

According to police, "The DJ performed a fantastic job of informing all patrons to safety vacate the facility after hearing the rumble sounds."
