Frederick "Bucky" Esser IV, 47, of Toms River NJ passed away Thursday June 2nd, 2022 in a car accident.

He is survived by his parents Lynda DeSordi, Frederick Esser III, Victor DeSordi and Mary-Anne Esser, his daughter Celina Esser who was his whole world, his siblings Gina Brennan, Jason Esser, Elena Boyle, and Victor DeSordi Jr, and his six nieces and nephews.

Bucky was born December 7th, 1974 in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge NJ. He was raised in Lakewood NJ and attended Monsignor Donovan high school and Brick Memorial high school. In 2005, he started his roofing and siding business, Five Star Exteriors LLC, which he ran for 17 years.

Bucky was a generous, caring, hard-working, and fun-loving guy with a larger-than-life personality. He had a great heart and truly enjoyed helping people. He was there for anyone that needed him - friends, family, and strangers alike. He loved playing his guitar and singing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his friends and family. Bucky considered everyone a friend, even those he just met, and he will be missed deeply by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday June 8th 4-8pm at the Colonial Funeral Home 2170 NJ 88 Brick NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HOPE Sheds Light at hopeshedslight.networkforgood.com.
