McDonald's is thanking teachers and school employees for all they do by providing them with free breakfast throughout the week.
Monday, Oct. 11th to Friday, Oct. 15th, educators and school personnel with a valid work ID can get a free breakfast at any McDonald's outlet.
Eligible teachers and school personnel can select between an Egg McMuffin, a Sausage Biscuit, or a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit, though menus may vary by location.
A side of hash browns and a medium hot or iced coffee, iced tea, or soft drink are also included with the meal.
Jennifer "JJ" Healan, the company's vice president of marketing, brand content, and engagement, told USA TODAY that the offer is the company's "first large national thank you gesture" for teachers.
Educators and staff will get a thank you card instead of a toy with all "Thank You" dinners, which will be packed in a Happy Meal box.
Healan said, "We wanted to build on that idea and recognize our educators in our communities for all that they've been doing and what they do actually every day."
