Toms River Mayor, Mo Hill announced Toms Rivers’ first skate park is now open! A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Saturday, August 21st at 12:00 p.m. The new skate park is located at Castle Park on Oak Avenue across the Toms River Police Department.

At the grand opening, there will be a skating exhibition show by Jeff Jones - Hell on Wheels, and the Recreation Department will also be onsite to give out waiver forms and usage tags.

Until the lighting system arrives, the park is open for daylight use only. The park is free however a waiver form and usage tags will be available at the Snug Harbor Pool and Youth Center during normal business hours in order to skate.
