The pride of Ocean County is heading to the national stage.
The Toms River Little League 12U Softball All-Stars have officially punched their ticket to the 2026 Little League Softball World Series, becoming Mid-Atlantic Region Champions after a dominant run through Bristol, Connecticut. Their journey continues in Greenville, North Carolina, where the World Series begins August 2, 2026.
These young athletes first captured the New Jersey State Title, then battled through regional competition to emerge as champions — a historic, once‑in‑a‑lifetime achievement for the program and the community.

But while the dream is alive, getting the team and their families to Greenville comes with real financial challenges. Travel, lodging, meals, and time away from work add up quickly — and that’s where the community is stepping in.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support the team’s World Series trip:

Organizers say every contribution, big or small, directly helps ease the burden on families and allows the girls to focus on what they’ve earned: competing on the biggest stage in youth softball.
“Your support gives them the chance to create unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and experiences they’ll carry with them forever,” the fundraiser states.
With just days until the team departs for North Carolina, Toms River is rallying behind its champions — proving once again that this town shows up when it matters most.
