Help with the Overabundance of Dogs and Cats Needing Shelter and Supplies in Ocean County

Please Help Donate to Animals

According to the Brick Township Police Department, if you want to help with the overabundance of dogs and cats needing shelter and supplies on the heels of the puppy mill rescue this weekend, please see below for a list of items that can be donated to the Northern and Southern Ocean County Animal Facilities.

  • Pedigree dog food (especially small bites)
  • Friskies or Purina cat chow and kitten chow
  • Friskies or Purina cat food patte (NOT grain free)
  • Toys for both dogs and cats
  • Monetary donations - checks can be made out to Ocean County Health Department and on the memo line write "memorial donor fund"

    If you live closer to the Popcorn Park facility at 1 Humane Way in Forked River, you can drop off donated items there and they will deliver to the Animal Facilities.
