Please Help Donate to the GoFundMe of 14-Year-Old, Leigha Cirillo who is Fighting for Her Life and Help Her Family During This Difficult Time

According to GoFundMe:

Anyone who knows Leigha Cirillo just adores her and if you don’t know her here’s a little about her! Leigha was diagnosed with a 3p deletion short arm, when she was a month old. It is a very rare disease, in fact Only 42 children in the world have the 3p deletion which is a very rare chromosome disorder.

Doctors told mom and dad that she wouldn't live past two, but Leigha proved them wrong and is now FOURTEEN ! Leighas journey is far from easy but it’s hers ! Throughout her 14 years of life she has had countless specialists and doctors and many many hospitals stays . With some scares along the way this little girl fought through everytime.

The last two years have been by far the hardest medically and emotionally last year Leigha had many serious medical issues and ended up septic, in real Leigha fashion she pushed through . However her little body is tired and she wasn’t able to fully recover .

This year the day after Christmas she was admitted into the hospital as she isn’t able to keep any nutrition in through her G tube which is her only form of getting nutrition as she is too weak to fully swallow . During this hospital stay so far they have found out Leighas pancreas is not working and her body does not produce the enzymes it needs . Doctors and nurses are working tirelessly to find something that will allow Leigha to keep some nutrition in so far they are still on the hunt . She went under for her second time yesterday so far this stay to put in a J tube which will hopefully allow nutrition in straight through her intestines, we are praying this works as there are not many options left after this .

We know taking care of a special needs child is rough on it’s own without all the in between set backs . As mom and dad have been around the clock at the hospital or dad working and both still taking care of her twin brother Joesph and her sister Kristianna at home.

We can all imagine the emotional physical and financial aspect of all of this . If anyone knows Erica and Joe you would know they would give you the shirt off their backs , we are asking if you can donate any amount to help them out during the most difficult time of their life!

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and please keep praying for our little fighter as this road ahead is long .
