Thursday into Saturday, it will feel like 110 to 115 degrees due to the heat and humidity. It's possible that Thursday will be the hottest day in 60 years.

If you don't have access to air conditioning or your air conditioner isn't functioning properly, please make use of cooling centers. Make sure your elderly relatives and neighbors are doing well.

On Friday afternoon and late on July Fourth, isolated storms may occur. Unfortunately, according to the National Weather Service, Saturday night appears to be the best chance for storms, particularly in the northern half of the state.

The Fourth of July fireworks that are planned for that evening at roughly 9 p.m. may be hampered by this rain-storm threat. We'll have to see how the pattern changes.
