Illegal Narcotics Distribution: Two Men Apprehended in Ocean County
According to Brick Township Police Department, the Brick Township Police Street Crimes Unit detained two males for illegal narcotics following a two-month investigation.
During a search on March 13, police in Brick Township discovered heroin, cocaine, furosemide, diazepam, two digital scales, and various other drug related items in a house on
Lenape Trail.
The two occupants, Whiting resident Joseph Coiro,59, and Brick Township resident Roy John Pickell Jr.,64, were taken into custody.
Possession of furosemide, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance were the three counts under which they were charged. Pickell and Coiro were processed at the Ocean County Jail after being checked into Brick Police Headquarters.
