In Brick, CityMD Urgent Care Will Replace 7-Eleven and WindMill

The Urgent Care Center Would be Ocean County's Fourth CityMD

For years, it was a place where you could get WindMill hotdogs and fries and wash them down with a 7-Eleven Slurpee. Instead, it will be a location where you can focus on your health.

According to the Asbury Park Press, CityMD is coming to the commercial mall on the corner of Route 88 west and Route 70, replacing 7-Eleven and the WindMill.

The urgent care center would be the county's fourth. There are locations in Toms River, Lacey's Lanoka Harbor neighborhood, and Stafford Township's Manahawkin. In Wall, there is also a CityMD. Summit Health Management owns and operates the urgent care chain.

Not only does the urgent care center handle minor injuries and illnesses, but it also offers a variety of health tests, immunizations, physical exams, and other services.

According to the company's website, it has more than 130 sites across New Jersey and New York.

The WindMill's Brick restaurant closed in September of 2019. The 7-Eleven was decommissioned in early 2021.
