November 14, 1963 – August 31, 2026
Bonita Lee Werring, lovingly known to everyone as Bonnie, passed away on August 31, 2026. She was a devoted wife, an extraordinary mother, a cherished sister and aunt, and a source of unconditional love and encouragement to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband, William “Billy” Werring; her daughter, Victoria Werring; her son, Alexander Werring; and her siblings, Sharon Olshefski, Joseph Olshefski, and Rosalie Tulino. She also leaves behind countless family members and friends whose lives are better because she was a part of them.
On February 13, 1988, Bonnie married the love of her life, Billy. Together, they built a life and a love that was impossible not to notice. Their love story was the kind that others admired and hoped to find for themselves—a love rooted in genuine affection, devotion, friendship, and an unwavering commitment to one another.
After more than 38 years of marriage, their love for each other remained unmistakable. Bonnie and Billy did not simply share a life together; they genuinely loved being together. Through all of life’s joys and challenges, they stood beside one another. The love they shared could be seen in the way they looked at each other, cared for each other, and chose each other, again and again. Their marriage was a beautiful example to their children and to everyone fortunate enough to witness it—a reminder of what it means to truly love another person.
Bonnie had one of those rare hearts that always seemed to have room for one more person. Her home was more than a home—it was a place where people felt welcomed, cared for, and loved. She was a mother not only to Victoria and Alexander, but to so many who stepped through her door. If you were in Bonnie’s home, you were family.
Her loving and caring nature was at the center of everything she did, but nowhere was that love more evident than in the way she loved her children. Bonnie was the kind of mother who made you believe you could do anything. No dream was too big, no goal was out of reach, and no setback could ever make her stop believing in you.
She believed wholeheartedly that if Victoria and Alexander put their minds to something, they could accomplish it—and she would be right there, cheering them on every step of the way. She was their biggest supporter, their loudest cheerleader, their safe place, and a constant source of strength. Her children never had to wonder whether their mother believed in them. She made sure they knew.
One of Bonnie’s favorite sayings was “Live, Love, Laugh,” three simple words that so perfectly reflected the way she approached life. She lived with an open heart, loved without hesitation, and understood the importance of finding reasons to laugh along the way.
Bonnie gave the people around her something that cannot be replaced: the feeling of knowing that someone was always in your corner. Her passing leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved her, but the love she gave so freely does not leave with her.
It lives on in Billy, in Victoria and Alexander, in her siblings, and in every person she welcomed into her home and treated as one of her own. It lives on every time her children take a chance on themselves because they can still hear their mom telling them that they can do it. It lives on in the example of love and devotion that Bonnie and Billy showed throughout their marriage. And it will live on in the stories, laughter, traditions, and memories shared by everyone who loved Bonnie.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A church memorial service celebrating Bonnie’s life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Saint Pius X, 300 Lacey Road, Forked River, New Jersey 08731.
Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Bonnie, celebrate the beautiful life she lived, and honor the extraordinary love she gave to all of us.
