James G. Glynn, 58, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on January 10, 2023 at home. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Jimmy was a longtime resident of Toms River.

He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor’s Degree in business. As a young man, he worked on the boardwalk at a pizzeria and was a lifeguard for Seaside Park.

For many years, Jimmy owned and operated Jimmy G’s Pizzeria in Howell and Toms River. He enjoyed golfing and boating. Jimmy was an avid NY Giants fan. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. All who knew him will dearly miss him.

He was predeceased by his father John P. Glynn and his great niece Riley. Surviving are his beloved mother Susan (Hess) Glynn; his brother Scott and wife Denise; his sister Paige Laday and husband Craig; his cherished nieces and nephews Nicole and Ryan McCabe, Scotty, Courtney and Chris Farrant, Chelsea and Phil LiPomi, Brandon and Daniel; great nieces and nephews Brady, Ariana and Mason and many caring friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM with a Service at 6:00 PM at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. Cremation is private.

Donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation in memory of Jimmy.
