In Ocean County, a Carjacking Suspect was Arrested, and a Person Was Injured

The Suspect is Accused of Punching the Victim Before Fleeing, According to Jackson Police

A person has been arrested in connection with a carjacking that occurred in Jackson on Monday morning, according to police.

According to Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz, one person was injured and was being treated after being punched.

Officer Kevin Chesney of the Jackson Police Department identified and detained the man in Lakewood , who allegedly assaulted numerous other people, according to Kunz.

The suspect was apprehended and sent to the Jackson Police Department. Additional details, according to Kunz, will be available later Monday.
