Jeff Frazier Becoming a 2023 Rutgers Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee

According to Toms River Schools:

Congratulations to High School South’s Jeff Frazier on becoming a 2023 Rutgers Athletic Hall of Fame inductee! Frazier is photographed here by student Olivia Lucas against a backdrop featuring another HSS legend, Mr. P David Correll.

American former outfielder Jeffrey Michael Frazier, who played for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball in 2010, was born on August 10, 1982.

Frazier was a member of the 1995 Little League World Series and 1996 Junior League World Series. He attended Toms River High School South, where in 2001 he won the state player of the year award from The Star-Ledger.

While a student at Rutgers University, Frazier played baseball for the Scarlet Knights. He participated in the Cape Cod Baseball League's summer collegiate baseball season that year with the Chatham A's and earned league all-star honors.

Jeff's brother, Todd Brian Frazier, nicknamed "The Toddfather", played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Along with his older brother Charlie, Jeff still resides in New Jersey and operates the "Frazier Baseball" baseball clinic in Toms River at the Frazier Field for the Toms River East Little League.

Currently, Jeff teaches physical education at Toms River High School South.
