OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do around Ocean County this Labor Day weekend?
Communities across the county are wrapping up summer with a lineup of events offering something for everyone — from handmade crafts and local shopping to food trucks, live music and a patriotic celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
Whether you're looking for a family-friendly afternoon or a chance to browse local vendors, here are four events happening around Ocean County this weekend.

Police Station Lawn, 1 Municipal Plaza, Seaside Park The holiday weekend gets underway Saturday with Seaside Park's Annual Art & Craft Fair. Local artists and crafters will gather on the Police Station Lawn to showcase their handmade creations. It's a chance to browse unique items while supporting local vendors. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6. More Than 90 Vendors Set for Toms River Craft Fair Saturday, Sept. 5 | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Craft lovers will have plenty to explore in Toms River, where the Fabricated For You Craft Fair will feature more than 60 outdoor booths and 30 indoor spotlight vendors. Shoppers can expect a wide variety of handmade goods, including jewelry, baked treats, quilts, beach-themed items, floral arrangements, resin art, paintings, seaglass art, candles, crochet creations, bags, wallets, toys and home décor. There will also be a raffle featuring gift baskets, while kids can enjoy free face painting. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, with Sunday, Sept. 6, serving as the rain date. Food Trucks, Live Music Coming to Berkeley Township Saturday, Sept. 5 | 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If food and live music are more your style, Berkeley Township has a Labor Day weekend celebration planned at Veterans Park. The Berkeley Township Food Truck & Music Festival will bring 15 gourmet food trucks, an adult beverage garden, a vendor shopping village, children's activities and live bands to Bayville. Admission is $5, while children under 10 can attend for free. Point Pleasant Beach to Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary Sunday, Sept. 6 | 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Point Pleasant Beach will turn patriotic Sunday with a full day of activities celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The festivities begin with a parade at 10 a.m. along Arnold Avenue, traveling from Shore Pools to the Bandshell. Parade lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. The celebration continues at the Bandshell with a block party beginning at 11 a.m. The national anthem will follow, with Mayor Douglas Vitale scheduled to speak at 11:05 a.m. and Assemblyman Paul Kanitra at 11:15 a.m. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., families can enjoy food, music, games and other activities. A Revolutionary War reenactment will also be part of the celebration, giving visitors a chance to step back in time and experience a piece of American history. The borough's official calendar lists the parade and block party from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. With craft fairs, food trucks, live entertainment and patriotic festivities happening throughout the county, Ocean County residents have plenty of options for making the most of the Labor Day weekend.
