After reportedly injuring another man in a drive-by shooting on Wednesday in the parking lot of a nearby retail center, a Cherry Hill man was taken into custody.

According to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, Terrence Roberts, 52, was charged on Thursday with three weapons-related felonies and first-degree attempted murder.

At 3:53 p.m., police were dispatched to Liberty Bell Plaza on Route 70 East due to reports of a gunshot victim inside a car.

According to officials, the unidentified 61-year-old male was sent to Cooper University Hospital and was in stable condition.

The man was slumped over the steering wheel while the automobile horn was wailing, according to witnesses who spoke to ABC6.

According to the office, investigators concluded that Roberts had parked his car next to the victim's car and started shooting.
The suspect's car was tracked by investigators using security footage to his residence, where a search turned up many firearms.

According to the agency, Roberts was arrested in Cherry Hill and charged later that night. While awaiting a detention hearing in higher court, he was being detained at the Camden County Correctional Facility.
